Most of the people who follow DBZ, know that the first 53 episodes were dubbed by Pioneer, they decided not to stick with the original story and changed most of the dialogue, and did not release uncut footage.
Funimation took over after Pioneer and has finally gone back to the beginning of DBZ and re-dubbed the dialogue with the usual Voice Artists, and has supplied the original Japanese prints. This is the second installment, in which piccollo and goku continue to fight Radditz. I believe that this series is one of the best, as it leads on to Vegeta.
I would reccommend this DVD to anyone interested in DB,DBZ,DBGT. We are finally able to see the fights in full, and in perfect video quality. The 5.1 sound is amazing, the bass is truely powerfull. The only shame is that this has minimal special features compared to the first volume.
