"Pretty Good" Purchased on Mighty Ape

This game has good things and bad things to it. What's good is there are a nice number of characters (not as many as there could be but still), the graphics are decent and better than previous instalments, there are more moves you can pull off and controls are quite good (although it takes time to get used to), and the fighting is like it was in the previous dbz tenkaichi games.

What could have been improved on was that there wasn't an actual story mode, instead it was replaced with galaxy mode where you choose a character and go through a series of fights with virtually no background, however galaxy mode is still fun as there are plenty of things you can unlock and can play as any character. Just if they also put in a story mode would have made it that much better. Also for some reason the “lock on” feature is missing so don't know if this has been completely taken out but it does feel weird not having one. The music in the game is ok but the music the plays on the main selection screen is annoying (personal preference I guess). Also if you are one who likes to go through the museum you don't get shown a character model, just a picture and the voices. But this still isn't bad.

Overall this game could have been better, in some way it is just another dragon ball game (nothing too special) but its still fun to play plus there are a couple of bonuses like the eradicate the saiyans movie. Don't get me wrong, im not saying this is a bad game, im saying if there were improvements made on it then it would probably the best dbz game ever. So it isn't as good as budokai tenkaichi 3 (which is my favourite) but probably the best so far on ps3 and xbox 360 and I've had lots of fun playing this single and multiplayer. Great gameplay. Great visuals. I'd say 8 out of 10. If you are a dragon ball fan and want a game, i'd recommend this one. Cheers

"If You like the Tenkaichi Series."

I love this game, it's a step up from the original Tenkaichi Series and If you love them, then you will love this.

If you want to play a DBZ game then buy this one, don't bother with the new Ultimate Tenkaichi it's a step down compared.

"Much Improved"
4 stars"

When I was about to play this, I was expecting the same old routine with other DBZ games. Follow the story, unlock characters and all done, but thats not at all what they've done with Raging Blast 2. You actually have a huge amount of missions, battles and collectibles to get and a bonus is that the graphics have improved alot. I enjoyed this game throughout the whole thing and is a must-get for DBZ fans.

"Good Fun"

A fun type of game, not as refined as Tenkaichi was, but nevertheless still a great buy, would easily substitue for the tenkaichi series on a PS3!

"Getting there, DBZ!"

It's good, a little complex (if you pry deeper into the game), and really satisfying to win. (Even against computers)

The remastered “movie” was really disappointing, but the game is a good-to-get if you want some fast-paced versus.

A pretty good game but im sure they could have done much better with the technology the Ps3 has I hope when the PS4 is released they make another DBZ game and blow my mind
