Great story & great acting,excellent set and scenery.
I have not yet seen these DVDs. I actually bought them for my wife for mother's day. Generally that genre of period dramas is not necessarily my cup of tea, however, my wife loves them with all the big hats, flowing long dresses, and the characters all dressed to the 9's.
Loved being able to watch all the episodes one after the other. This is British filming at its best.
