Author Biography:

Phyllis Zagano is an adjunct professor of religion at Hofstra University, Hempstead, NY. Dr. Zagano is author or editor of many books, including Called to Serve: A Spirituality for Deacons, Dorothy Day: In My Own Words, and On Prayer: A Letter to My Godchild (Liguori Publications). She has also written hundreds of articles and reviews.
