Born and raised in Ohio, Jonathan Wagner enjoys his life to the fullest, spending spring and summer in Florence, Wisconsin on the Brule River and fall and winter in Mercer, North Dakota. He shares his homes with his two Labrador Retrievers, Fortula, and Segen. His family also includes four wonderful children and three grandchildren. In his spare time, he enjoys ice fishing, pheasant hunting, fly fishing, bird watching, and kayaking. Now retired, Jonathan's career as a beloved teacher for forty years has not gone unrecognized. Spending twelve years at the University of Winnipeg in Manitoba, Canada and twentyeight years at Minot State University in North Dakota, he considers himself a lifelong educator. He earned a B. A. from Bowdoin College in Maine, an M. A. from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, and a Ph. D. as well as a J. D. from the University of WisconsinMadison.
