Jan Sovak is an award-winning fine artist, muralist, and designer, currently recognized as one of the foremost natural history illustrators in the world. With advanced degrees in both fine art and zoology, Jan has had his work published in over 270 books in more than 15 languages. His illustrations have also appeared in film and on educational TV -- including the Discovery Channel and National Geographic, USA -- and in more than 50 museums across the globe. In addition, Jan has worked on over 100 creative projects for Dover Publications.
