Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth reviews

Ive been waiting years for a digimon game to come out like this and im not disappointed. Only thing wrong with it is that the audio is all in japenese, good thing I watch a lot of subbed anime

To date digimon have made some good games but they have fallen off in some category sometimes it's the story sometimes it's the gameplay but finally I think they have managed to create a game that keeps many of their core themes tamagotchi + battle with a story line that throws curve balls and makes you feel at least some what heroic. I think their gameplay needs a few tweaks since auto combat exists and I have managed to play 50 hours of the game with only manually fighting 3 or 4 battles. The games sound track is varied enough that you don't end up hating it but it also isn't amazing that you might listen to it by itself. If you like digimon I would recommend it otherwise maybe find another game in the genre. 4.5/5 for digimon fans, 3.5/5 for jrpg fans.

A return to the classic turn based and party based jrpg of old.

Great game over all

Let me start with this game is great, looks amazing and the feel is great, the story has been great so far......now that's the positives, the few negatives I have that pull that fifth star out of reach is that it can be a tad wordy at times but the big issue is the evolution charts, now I think it's been done well but it's a little disappointing it's not as tight as it could be in regards to who can (de)digivolve into who. Other than that it's a great game and I still recommend

I wasn't sure how good this game was going to be when I got it, but it is extremely good. A must buy for any Digimon fan.

This game is really good for all the fans of digimon! I will inform everyone however the digital download has more content and was sadly cheaper than what I got it for on mighty ape. But still am happy with the game and no regrets buying it! Thanks mighty ape!

Like digimon you like this game be shame about voices being japanese but still was very enjoyable worth getting

I have the PSN version for the DLC and exclusive color variants. Though the lack of this doesn't detract much from the physical version if you want to go that way. This game is a must-have for Digimon fans and I highly recommend it. Pokemon fans like myself may also really enjoy this. If you are looking into this game for it's genre however, hardcore RPG gamers may find this too easy on normal or before new-game + though the mechanics (and of course grinding) for collecting Digimon, raising and acquiring moves and stats for PVP may still appeal to others new to Digimon.
