As Halo4 lovers my boys looked at this and could see the parallels straight away, but they also picked elements of other games that really resonated as well. Given that Bungie wrote the Halo universe originally, Halo 4 was always going to be an influence, but this has a life of its own. plus side – competing with similar level players can be great fun negative side – Xbox 360 4G needed an Xbox hdd ($130) before it would install and hours spent waiting for downloads before starting. if the Xbox went to sleep, the download would start from the beginning again.

Destiny is the product of Bungie's latest work. It has the hallmarks of Halo from the past written all over it, in the game play online story mode and multiplayer (the dropships dropping off enemies, the double and triple jumps, the abilities, the enemy creatures, etc). Destiny's story campaign is a little repetitive for my liking, the game's idea of the universe is… Earth, Moon, Venus, Reef, Mars, multiplayer, Strike… and the extensions to come. It is enjoyable to play, funny when I first got this on day one I was not playing hardcore as I also had work to go to, come back and on the first day there are heaps of people already at level 20 needless to say players are definitely getting into the game, spending hours leveling up, upgrading legendary and exotic gear, weapons, etc. It's something new, there are tons of weapons, armor, etc you go through I guess the euphoria will last for a little while.
Best shooter I've played in years. Not a MMO like people believed. Amazing COOP with sick multiplayer!!!
Once you start you can't stop and it leaves you wanting more.
Love the game even brought the DLC season pass
