Overall, i'm impressed with the quality of these LEDs. They're bright, colourful, super easy to install and operate (Only requiring a 4-pin Molex and room for the controller and IR sensor). Unfortunately it only offers 16 colours (15 and white), but if you're someone who changes between static colours often this will do the job. You may be better off going for one of the more expensive LED kits if you're going for either a wave/rainbow or smooth colour cycling effect as this kit only offers “strobe” or “fade between black” colour cycling effects with the 16 colours on offer.
The few things holding this back from being a 5/5 for me is a fairly subpar IR controller and sensor. The sensor seems fairly weak; only operating if the remote is pointed directly at it from a range of <1ft if there's anything between the sensor and remote (ie; the side panel of your case). The remote itself is a cheap, mass produced IR LED remote which I've seen a multitude of times before with other IR LED kits – they're not particularly robust, they suffer heavily from interference, and they're all on the same frequency. However, both of these things are only minor details and won't affect the kit's usage.
Overall, if you're someone who likes to change up their colours from time to time this kit will work perfectly for you. If you're going for a rainbow effect or like smooth fades you'd best put your money into a more expensive kit.
