Description

This book discusses the issue of uncertainty in decision-making by describing a number of illustrative applications of decision-making methodologies that provide best-practice guidelines. It offers a unique guide to multiple-criteria decision-making (MCDM) in uncertain environments and includes several case studies focusing on energy applications. Decision-making in uncertain environments is unavoidable in engineering and management, and this uncertainty can be a barrier to the implementation of multiple-criteria decision-making (MCDM). The book is a valuable resource for researchers and practitioners seeking a practical guide to the implementation of decision-making methodologies
