I originally bought this for my nephews to give them something to play as Demons Souls, Mortal Kombat and Dynasty Warriors weren't appropriate for their ages. They think this game is great, it's got just the right amount of challenges for young and older gamers.

As a result I've got hooked into this game too, it's got trophy support, co-op mode and is a lot of fun. The music is excellent, it gets more musical as you color things in and complete tasks and the each level is quite long too which adds to the fun.

My only criticism is that there's a timer for the levels which seems not needed. Occasionally i'll get stung and run out of time but usually you can get the timer to be over an hour remaining by completing tasks.

Great for kids, great for adults and great to not be inflicting death and pain in order to win for once :)

If you enjoyed De Blob you will enjoy De Blob 2, the game play is familiar with enough addition to keep you working toward those elusive Gold badges. The Two player option is good, but if you are looking for more then assisting the main player you may be let down as player two is a controllable paint gun pointer (representing Blobs friend Pinky the Robot) Very useful to save Blob from having to Jump for hard places and recoloring Blob if you get in water or ink, but otherwise rather one sided. Blob Party gives a much more balanced time for all but as such are mini games and not campaign. All round a highly fun game and I'll be waiting for Number 3

This game is pretty good in the sense of the earlier levels are relaxing, you can pretty much take your time and it's satisfying painting gray things in bright colours. As the game moves along, you find the time constrains you a bit and you really don't have time to 'eff around and you just have to get through and do the job, then you can paint afterwards. It's a good platform and mindless game. I find the character voices annoying, but luckily you can skip through them pretty quickly. Can't complain for the price that it comes at, it's a good deal.
