Darksiders: Wrath of War reviews

Well I still haven't finished this game but i can say if you like the Zelda and God Of War franchise and a bit of puzzles. and it's well worth the price over 17 hours of exploring ( a lot of the time is figuring out the puzzles.)

I'd give it a good try it's better than you'd expect of a comic book based game :)

Another great time wasting game, good fights, heaps of weapon upgrades and some puzzles to get the brain going. If anyone was a fan of Heavenly Sword then this is a must buy.

From the very start to the very end this game is packed with 1080p full HD action that will keep you on the edge on your set. It is loaded with lots of weapons and power-up so you can slash your way through the many types of blood thirsty enimies. A great game for your collection. 10/10

After playing God of War 3 this is pretty disappointing – the graphics are jagged, the gameplay is jerky and not fluid (once you start a combo you can't stop) and the storyline is average to put it lightly.

I only bought the game based on the existing reviews here on MightyApe and while they've usually served me well – unfortunately not this time.

This is one of the best games ive played cant wait to get the new one looks ten times better

In this game you play as War, one of the four horsemen of the apocalypse

There is lots of slashing through hords of deamons and lots of different powers to upgrade over time.

It it a must buy.

A great mix of mindless button pounding, mixed in with some not so mindless puzzles.

This game will keep you busy for hours.

Bit long and drawn out in places but a great play overall! Am looking forward to how the series will develop with the remaining horsemen!

Was bit skeptical to begin with but after playing for an hour or so really started to get into it. Good combat system and vast areas to explore.

If your a goth or learning about the four horse men of the apocaylpse this might be a good game for you. The fighting scenes are great and the fact you can find smaller easy to kill enemies around is great, the boss battles are hard and challenging and at first you dont realise it but theres acctually more puzzle work and thinking skills than just throwing around a kick ass sword full of “power ups”, but dont let that put you off. It's a great game and has alot to offer but after you've finished the game a few times and unlocked the only item you carry on to the new game it really starts to get boring. The wasted landscape looks really nice but sometimes its nice to have people around and monsters that arn't trying to kill you.

This game is great fun, so much to do and kill :) lots of weapon upgrades, moves to unlock and new weapons along the way, massive amounts of enemys, great over the top action, storyline is really good and draws you in. the only downside is the graphics arent to great and the story is abit long, but overall a great game

I found this game very entertaining. It has alot of different elements to it, some parts you can do with just fighting others you have to do abit of puzzle solving work. I have reccomended this to some of my friends who have also enjoyed the game also. I hope you enjoy this as much as me and good luck!

One of the best games I have played on the ps3. The story is amazing, and the play style is really well done too. It starts off with button mashing, and as you progress you can buy skills to define the way you fight. It's not a very difficult game, the bosses just needing a small bit of patience, part of it might have gotten a bit repetitive if they weren't over so quickly. I have been playing this every time I get spare time since I got it. Very good for stress relief too.

So to start you off they put you right into the heat of battle to tease you of things to come, The game it's self is very easy to grab a hold onto, The story line is very well played out you might get lost along the way with the amount of thought that you might have to put into the puzzle solving that goes on in the game but you soon enough pick back up right into the story, It is packed with a lot of action and surprises, a very fun game graphics are stunning even for a SD T.V. all in all this game will not let you down.

This game, in a nut shell, is Zelda with; more darkness, bigger swords, sharper boomerangs, scythes and guns. If you liked any of the Zelda games this wont disappoint.
