Crysis 2 reviews

Crysis 2 looks incredible (maxed out with DX11 and High Res. Textures patch), but I didn't enjoy it as much as I would have liked to. Don't get me wrong, it's a good game, but I didn't stay interested for too long, particularly not for such a big title as Crysis.

The multiplayer is fairly lackluster and not as popular as some other big multiplayer games on the market, making it often difficult to find decent servers.

It really is, as I found its predecessor, a tool for benchmarking with some entertainment va­lue.

This was the very first game I played on a brand new gaming PC. If you have a mid to high-end PC for games, you simply must try out Crysis 2 on it.

When its on sale definitely worth buying, with the new patches it also looks much much better than originally not to mention than on console.

The campaign itself is far better than the original crisis game-play in my opinion, the ceph are far less boring that's for sure.

I'm a big fan of free roaming shoot-em-ups where I can roam freely at will and kill everything in my path.

Games that force you to stick to a narrow path and constantly bombard you with storyline video just drive me insane.

This game has a lot of the first, and very little of the second.

Graphics are excellent and show up well on my i7 laptop with GT525M – even able to run smoothly when connected to the 55" tv at 1920×1080.

This is my first time playing Crysis and can't work out why I hadn't tried it before.

A must have in the 1st Person arsenal.

My only complaint is there's no in-game save mode… only fixed checkpoint saves as you progress through each level.

I'll be playing this for some time to come (or at least till Crysis 3 comes along).

Cant wait to play the next one

Only played 3 hours so far , an absorbing game if you like shooters, buy it , graphics like watching a film .

Crysis 2 was the first game (to my knowledge) that used the new Cryengine 3, the advancement from the cryengine 2 seen in Crysis and Crysis Warhead. Crysis 2 is set in a slightly future New York, and has some amazing visuals, courtesy of the HD retexture pack and DX11 patch released by Crytek soon after release. This was definately a good way to benchmark my 680 graphics card! I highly reccomend this game to PC enthusiasts who want to push their computer to its limits, or those who like to kick alien and human ass!

Crysis 2 has fixed its graphical issues from the from Crysis 1, and is just as intense as Crysis 1 was.

Even though this is demanding on computer power, I can play it happily enough on my single core, 2GB RAM old-timer. As long as I make sure the cache is clear before I start… Best graphics I have ever seen. Compelling action with all sorts of extra goals that may or may not be achieved. A little effort to get familiar with game options is well worth while. Top game.

Crysis 2 is one of those games that looks like any other shooter but don't be fooled by its trailer. Crysis 2 is amazing it absolutely immerses you in the world of aliens, Bad guys, and a suite that with the skill makes you invincible. This game will give you hours of fun and when your finished the campaign the multi player is just as good. All up this game is amazing all the way from the brilliant graphics to the great story. 10 out of 10
