Chrono Trigger, from the legendary game company Square-Enix, was one of the greatest RPGs of its time. That still hasn't changed today.

If you've never played the game before, it is definitely a must have. It has a strong story, good characterisation, and with over ten endings it has a huge replay value. It has several anime interludes and decorative maps, and the battle system is innovative and fast paced.

For those who have played before, I still recommend getting this one again. The game looks and feels cleaner with an updated interface, though if you're feeling nostalgic, it can still be set back to the old looks. There is an additional ending and two extra dungeons, as well as an updated translation to the script. It also contains a mini game which involves you raising a monsters of your own, who fights and wins you items in an arena.

All in all, this game is one of the gems of it time, and RPG fans are missing out on something beautiful if they pass this one up.

Regardless of how many times I've played this to death, Chrono and his friends always entertain. Put simply, this is one of the greatest console RPGs of all time…you will not be disappointed.

It's Taken Far Too Long For Chrono Trigger To Be Released On Hand Held But MAN! Has It Been Worth It.

This is one of the few games that has earned a place in my heart. Chrono Trigger is the result of a Dream Team of game designers, writers and artists, and a composer who deserves a Lifetime Achievement award. Like all the best RPGs, it starts out with a very nice piece of music and a seemingly innocent day out. Naturally, something odd happens and the borkbork hits the derp. Excellent story kicks off, isn't it exciting, multiple endings you sayyy--

The story is captivating, the characters are fun, the graphics took the Super Nintendo audience by storm (and quite honestly, in my opinion they look good even today, what with the 2D revival) and did I mention the music- Best music. Chrono Trigger is the reason I love fretless bass. Buy this game.

I can't tell you what a buzz I get from searching “Chrono Trigger” and actually getting a hit.

People who've played it since 95, you guys rock. Help spread the word. This little gem should never be forgotten.

I never had the pleasure of enjoying the NTSC version of this game on the SNES – I am glad I finally get to enjoy the magic that is Square Enix at their best! Highly Recommended!
