Catan - 5-6 Player Extension reviews

It is so much fun playing with more friends, I totally recommend it. I look forward to the next time I have 5–6 catan players over to give it a whirl.

Great expansion to a great game, hours of fun!

A must have for more game players

The game is slightly different given the extension, and I prefer the usual game rules but I don't mind it and I like that more people are able to join into the fun! The more the merrier!

This is really a must buy if you have the Base Version of Catan. The expansion keeps the same flow of the game, but extending it to 5–6 players. I also managed to get everything to fit in the base game box, which is a bonus.

We found ourselves often having more than four people for our board games nights. Having this expansion allowed us to play Catan a lot more. Definitely recommend if you find yourself with too many people for the base game!

Mighty Ape is my go-to for games, jigsaws, etc.They have great prices and deliver when they say they will. Highly recommend.

Adding additional 2 players makes the board game night better, especially if you have more than 3 friends who want to play.

This is an awesome game and I have played lots over the years, so finally bought my own copy plus the extension. Normally it is around $70 each for the base game and then the extension so for half the price this was fantastic.

I bought this as a gift for a friend who has the original Catan game, and now with up to 6 players, it is significantly better, more competitive and a lot more fun knowing everyone can join in. Products came in excellent condition, and I have no complaints about it.

If you love catan and want to involve more of you family and friends then it is worth getting yourself an extension pack!

Catan is a great introductory game. It is complex enough to keep you entertained, with just enough strategy to keep you focused on your goal – VICTORY! The only down side is that is is only for 4 players (unless you purchase the 5–6 player expansion which is entirely separate), and play can be repetitive; buying one or two of the expansions should fix that right up though!

A combination game of luck, strategy and influence the expansion pack just increases the number of friends you play with, argue with, and have fun with. Awesome board game

Make sure you've got the base set. I've used the expansion for 3–4 player games too, only because it gives you more room to build settlements and lay down roads. Essential for bigger groups too.
