I first read this on loan from a friend nearly 25 years ago and I promised myself I'd get my own copy and finally as of July 2015 I did…actually this is my third copy the others I've given away just to spread the word.

So what is it about-

This is the early history of the Universe and our very own little corner of it made easy to follow but far from “dumbed” down.

If Herodotus is too high brow for you and books on palaeontology too full of words ending in -assic and -oic then Larry G is for you.

Written for kids of all ages (5–105, outside of that range the tome becomes too heavy to hold)

Buy it, enjoy it, give it away and buy it again – and no I am not the author.
