Description

Neuro-oncology departments within cancer centers provide state-of-the-art treatment and research facilities addressing brain tumors and cancers of the nervous system. This book describes the neuroimaging centers housed within and the methodological advances that have emerged as a consequence of these integrated hospital and research facilities. With input from both researchers and clinicians, Neuroimaging Development in Neuro-Oncology Centers provides a comprehensive summary of these multidisciplinary neuro-oncology centers and the benefits of colocalized organization, delving into the multidisciplinary methods housed in these centers and their application in a clinical setting. This view of both research and clinical settings is extremely valuable and uniquely found in one volume here. This is a critical read for neuro-oncologists, neuroscientists, neuro-oncologists, neurologists, and any trainees working in methods development or brain tumor research, with the ultimate goal of elevating the quality of brain cancer research and treatment everywhere.
