Description

A double adventure featuring that well-known archaeologist and little-known poet, Cairo Jim, and his 'good friend', Valkyrian Airways Flight Attendant Jocelyn Osgood. Through a chance encounter, Jocelyn finds herself on set in Bollywood, India, where she becomes unwittingly embroiled in the shooting of 'Dimplewali' - the latest epic film starring that legend of the silver screen, Dauntless Dymphna. At the same time, at the Old Relics Society in Cairo, Jim and his companions Doris the macaw and Brenda the Wonder Camel are being exposed to a startling new revelation by their patron, Gerald Perry Esquire. Is it possible that deep in the Indian hinterland, obscured by time and rampant greenery, there actually exists the most splendid arch ever built by humanity? An arch tha - against all laws of nature - suspends itself high above the jungle floor, with no visible means of support? When chaos ensues on the set of 'Dimplewali', Jocelyn and Dauntless Dymphna find themselves flung into a subcontinent of intrigue, danger and curries, the likes of which they have never known. But this is only the beginning compared to what awaits Jim, Doris and Brenda.
