"Fun for everyone"
5 stars"

This movie is heaps of fun. From the kids who watched the show in the 80’s & 90’s, newer fans or someone completely new to the franchise. One can happily watch this movies with no knowledge of transformers or a fan of the most recents films will enjoy this too. A stand alone film that can fit in with the past one.

"This Transformers film is a must see for the entire family"

Bumblebee is a Sci-fi action Transformers movie in today's full animation that borders on human reality. From the start of the movie, Hailee Stenfield in her VW and John Cena join the Transformers in a visual, fast paced action with humour, driven by audio that matches the stunning animated film that the entire family will enjoy.

Bumblebee is one of the the best pre Michael bay Transformer movies ever. Delivery was very quick and I was able to track it from the moment it left the Mighty ape warehouse to my address Definitely recommend this film if you love Transformers and the whole franchise in general

"A semi-reboot to the Transformers franchise with heart."

While certainly not a masterpiece, this is far easier to get into than the Michael Bay Transformers movies. I'll always have a place in my heart for (some) of those films, but don't go in to this one expecting a prequel like the first trailer hinted at. Clearly the focus was shifted midway through production from prequel to a soft reboot. In this day and age of film series constantly changing continuity (X-Men Dark Phoenix, Terminator Dark Fate, Ratchet & Clank) it's best to just roll with it and take contradictory events with a grain of salt. That's not to say it isn't egregious here, like right at the end of the film Bumblebee does something that clearly shows it intends to lead right into the Michael Bay movies then immediately following in the final moments of the film, there's a scene that directly contradicts the events of that first movie. So I suggest seeing this as a standalone adventure with a possibility for an entirely new set of sequels set up. The plot is essentially ‘The Iron Giant’. Great directing, great acting, fairly decent if a bit unfocused story (some unneeded scenes). This is a Transformers movie with heart. Also those 2 scenes set on Cybertron are the BEST MOMENTS A CLASSIC TRANSFORMERS FAN WILL EVER EXPERIENCE! I was grinning from ear to ear.
