Author Biography:

Mr. H: The most senior juror in terms of number of pubs visited as well as in age, Mr. H enjoys a quality pint of bitter in a quality establishment. No plastic plants for this fellow! ... Mr. A: ... Mr. A prizes objectivity over personal favourites in his marking. He'll drink lager, bitter, stout or cocktails - basically anything in a glass. His preferred place of drinking has to have a bit of life. Mr. B: A fairly new father of one, Mr. B has had his drinking sessions curtailed by nappy changing, but in his day his preferred pub valued atmosphere and entertainment over beer. He's a lager drinking, football watching, gambling executive with a taste for a hot curry... Mr. E: An occasionally dangerous professional cider-drinker, Mr. E still feels like a student and favours the younger atmosphere for his alcohol consumption... Mr. T: Another young father, but this time of two, Mr. T is the only juror not resident in Brighton, hiding out in Plumpton and making regular forays into the big city purely for the sake of research... Miss C: Currently the only woman on the team, she has her work cut out objectively representing the views of the entire fairer sex. She is the only juror who rates Beer as low as being the 4th most important facet of a pub... Mr. M: Band member and full time artist and rocker, Mr. M knows what he wants from a pub and it is Atmosphere, Beer and Entertainment in that order...
