Author Biography:

No one can be certain on the origins of Hells-own Damian Black - his birth seems to have been willfully forgotten from the records of time. There are rumours and tales that Damian was rescued from a travelling circus when he was but five years of age. According to traditions the circus gladly released him from his duties of washing the bearded-lady's hairy chin for nought but a shilling. Apparently he himself was surrounded by a curse and ever since he was born of Hecate, misery and death had followed the Karnie Folk like a shadowed Blue Bottle chasing down rotten meat. Rumour had it that the Fish Boy known as Matt Chumney Ivor had tried to drown Damian shortly after his unnatural birth. The Fish Boy himself drowned. Damian was adopted into a wealthy English family based in Eastbourne. Here he was educated and found to be an inspired, if dark youth. He lived a simple but comfortable life until the advent of World War 2. His adopted father choked to death whilst eating Spam and eggs, and his adopted mother was duly committed to an asylum for chewing-off her lower left-ankle. Damian was left with a small fortune after his parents passed-on. But alas this was quickly squandered as Damian became more and more involved with occultism - with the Black Arts. It is said that he once awoke the Black Serpent. Damian now lives alone in a small country cottage. He continues to pursue his ambitions. It is said that Damian Black holds the Third Eye of the Unblinking Serpent within his two hands.
