Thoroughly enjoyed the movie, it was long and enjoyed every second. Made me tearful and sad towards the end. Impressed with the guy playing Freddie. An old fan saw Queens concert in 85 Mt Smart Stadium

The movie is such an excellent tribute to one of the most talented musical geniuses of our time. I feel like I know Freddie Mercury personally now. Even though Queen as a group are musical wonders Freddie was the catalyst to their meteoric rise to fame. Have watched the movie about 6 times now!!
Rami malek IS Freddie Mercury, he portrays the artist so well down to his mannerisms and how he acted on stage. This film follows the main bits of queens rise and fall up to the Live Aid concert!
Superbly done and oh the fascinating memories it triggered!
Makes you feel like you’re actually at a real Queen concert at times
Great movie. Great service from Mighty Ape
A really good telling of how Queen came to be.
Loved the movie so much had to buy the DVD.
Great movie, just to see the interaction between the band members, could've been fleshed out a tad more but no complaints here. Rami Maliks' performance as a tortured Freddie, brilliant!
This is such a great story. Even if some of the scenarios were a bit fabricated, it had me hooked. What an extraordinary life we lost, in Freddie Mercury. Rami Malak played an exceptional part.
Yes I know the songs, the characters & the final curtain but to watch the story unfold on a cinematic screen in a theater full of strangers and realize I wasn't just humming along but actually singing & maybe quietly weeping … I personally was more than moved. I wasn't racing to go and see it and part with my hard earned cash either but went with a friend who needed a night out, we couldn't even sit together in the theater it was so packed (and it had been running for at least a couple of months already) Loved it so much, a few weeks later I then took my 12yr old daughter & husband on Valentines … Still packed! A must see for all music enthusiasts, rockers & romantics, inspiring from a vocalists point of view & the magic of instrumentation. Genuinely relevant then & now!
