Description

Blandford Forum is an attractive town, with a history that goes back to Anglo-Saxon times. By the 13th century it had become an important market town and by 1724 Daniel Defoe described it as ‘flourishing’. “Publishers can go over the top extolling the virtues of their products. In this case, however, I happily concur that this splendidly illustrated concise history of Blandford Forum will be warmly welcomed by Blandfordians everywhere...” Blackmore Vale Magazine
