My heart skipped a beat, and I slowly took a step back. He was tall, well over six feet, and seemed to tower over me. "Hello, Kathryn," the man stated, in a deep, rumbling voice. "Remember me?" He asked with a smirk. I slowly shook my head and continued to back away. "Who are you?" I asked, my voice low and fearful. "My name is Conan." He took a step forward and grabbed my wrist. "Long story short, I'm here to kidnap you."
