"Fell short of my expectations!"

As much as I enjoy the Battlefield games, they seem to be getting shorter and shorter, I also found the game play in this latest edition seemed to fall a bit shorty of what I usually expect…!

Campaign was ok. Multiplayer was very glitchy and buggy. The Xbox 360 version is terrible compared to the Xbox one as I expected, I feel not much effort was put into the game and should be a lot cheaper to buy. In my opinion Battlefield 3 graphics are better and the game runs a lot smoother and is just an all round better experience. An alright game for someone who wants to play casually and isn't fussed about how well the game runs. I would recommend buying Battlefield 3 though as it is cheaper and cooler in every way

Not a bad follow up to Battlefield 3. The story line isn't too bad, more of the same Russian-Chinese “bad guys are onto us the good guys” Americans, story lines that we've seen before with the Modern Warfare series, Bad Company series, etc. BF4 campaign has 7 levels, it takes a while to collect all the achievements, collectables, level points but overall it isn't long. My problem is I find the storyline, preferable than Black Ops 2's “futuristic” pretensions but overall boring. In my own view the Bad Company series is a lot more enjoyable, likeable campaign protagonists, i.e. not as boring campaigns. It is a good thing these games have multiplayers… their obvious saving grace and ultimate purpose.
