Plans should be made to have every lesson con tribute something to the topic for the day. Such plans should interrupt the regular school work as little as possible. Tree quotations may be given in the morning exercises, and one or two songs sung. The reading lessons may be about trees. A number of tree poems and stories are found in the basal readers.
