I have now bought 4 of these as they are one of the best on the market. You may need to develop some technique, but if you have a wool haired pup that gets mat like tangles, they are excellent. You cannot always cut through great clumps – only scissors work there, but you can cut under the mat and not hurt your pets delicate skin. My two Lowchens are now more tolerant of my grooming blunders as the ceramic cutters are sharp and stop tugging. Definitely worth the money and a bit of effort as they are so much better than the $500 sets I started with!!!
I brought these and they can hardly cut the fur on either of my dogs, complete waste of money. I don't recommend these.
We have a long haired Jack Russell and he needs a fur-cut at least once a month. The clippers work perfectly for this every single time. The only minor thing is that it didn’t come with the oil it said it should have and Mighty Ape were amazing and sent out another kit but this didn’t have one either so it probably just isn’t supposed to have it. Haven’t need it so far with at least 10 clips done.
So my grooming moved South so took the plunge and decided the work will now be DIY. Excellent set of clippers and great value for money
Easy to use and good for the small jobs I needed to do.
Works better without the comb for matted fur! Easy and convenient. Worth the price :)
The shortest clipper piece doesn't cut as short as it should but, still easy to use and overall great.
I have a cat with a very thick coat, it does not cut her hair at all. It would probably work with a finer coat, but it did not even cut a line in her coat.
