Veronica Bennett is the author of eight previous novels for Walker Books (Monkey, Fish Feet, The Boy-Free Zone, Dandelion and Bobcat, Cassandra's Sister, Shakespeare's Apprentice, Vice and Virtue and The Devil's Promise), as well as the Poppy Love series for younger children. She lives in Hampton, Middlesex.
