If the world holds another civil document which combines more of truth and wisdom and dignity, than this, I know not where to look for it. It ought to be as familiar to us all, as the first lesson which our parents taught us. It ought to be as accessible to the eye, as if it were written in letters of light, and hung up in mid-heaven. The rising generation, every young man especially, ought to carry it near est to his heart, and ponder it night and day.
