Alistair J. Sinclair graduated Ph.D. at Glasgow University in 1998 for a thesis on the philosophy of the Scottish Enlightenment. His published works include The Answer Lie Within Us (Ashgate Publishing, 1998), and What is Philosophy (Dunedin Academic Press, 2008). He has also published a number of e-books on Amazon Kindle. They include an important work on the subject of time entitled From Time to Eternity: An Essay on the Meaning of Time (2013). His main research interest at present lies in the philosophy of dualism which is the subject of his book, The Promise of Dualism: An Introduction to Dualist Theory shortly to be published. He is currently establishing a Centre for Dualist Studies of which he is the director.
