Matte/rough finish when casting a shiny surface and doesn’t capture small details but if that isn’t important to you this is a great mold putty, sturdy and easy to use.

I used a small amount of this putty to cover a scallop shell I had, it took around 20 minutes to make the mould and now I have loads of plaster of paris shells around… Very cool!

I purchased this item for making custom ear plugs for running in. Made fantastic ear molds but I noticed the surface was coming away each time I inserted them in and out, not a big major issue as I have enough to make plenty of molds, they still are super comfortable but would have hoped to be more durable. Not disappointed but not 100% either. 3 stars.
