Aeon Flux (Extreme Action Heroes) previews

Although the story line wasn't bad, and there are some pretty neat special effects, overall, this movie was disappointing. It lacked both the sly humor and the sado-mascohist nature of Aeon and Trevor's rela­tionship from the animated series, and Bregna was far too picturesque. Charlize Theron and Martin Czokas were miscast as the leads (eg a more athletic actress such as Uma Thurman would have been much better as Aeon). 3 stars.
