Author Biography:

Rev. Dr. Sw. Shraddhananda (aka Sonya Jones), a member of the Saraswati Order of Monastics and Meditation Masters, serves as Spiritual Director of Slate Branch Ashram in Kentucky. She also teaches in the Honors Program at the University of Kentucky and serves as Preceptor and Lineage Holder for The Community of The Mystic Heart. She holds a Ph.D. from Emory University and is a Distinguished Alumni Scholar at Union College, her undergraduate alma mater. The author of numerous books and papers, she has lectured on six continents.
