Author Biography

Tyler Anzan Cota fell in love with the written word as an adolescent. He used Spirituality and Poetry as a way to cultivate healing energy from challenging childhood experiences. Cota recently graduated with a BA in Sociology, with a focus on Urban Communities, Race, and Inequality and will soon begin his Graduate studies in Public Policy. Cota is a passionate activist who is involved with several Social Justice groups that focus on advocating for the most marginalized and oppressed communities. When not working, writing, or fighting for Social Justice, Cota enjoys adventuring through the wonders of Mother Earth's beauty. Cota is a member of the Bay Area Poets Coalition and can often be found reading at the monthly Last Word Reading Series located in Berkeley, Ca.
