I have the original Zowie FK1 that I got from Amazon over a year ago, so I'm comparing the mouse to the original version before Zowie got bought by BenQ.
FK1+ is pretty much a larger FK1. Most of the changes are welcome except the scroll wheel. Compared to the original FK1, the newer FK1+ scroll wheel has a slight wobble. It's also a bit noisier as a result. It's quite noticeable when scrolling up and down in web pages.
Good:
- Pretty much a FK1+ with slightly wider dimensions, I like the new shape better
- From what I can tell, the cable is less stiffer compared to the original FK1
- Excellent tracking
- Ambidextrous shape, good for people with RSI who switch between left and right hands
- You can adjust the DPI easily using a button on the bottom, no drivers or software required
- It doesn't have any flashy LEDs
Not so good:
- The scroll wheel
I'm giving it 4 stars. If BenQ had left the scroll wheel as it was then it would've been a perfect score.
