This album is better than Sacrament. However it still doesn't live up to the hype as far as I'm concerned. This album sounds very raw and is extremely brutal, however I still feel that Randy could change up his voice a bit more. I really like it when he screams but his growling singing is unappealing.

Best songs are:

The Passing In Your Words Set To Fail Fake Messiah Grace Dead Seeds

I don't like the other songs but these 6 are very good. This album will appeal to fans of their older material and those who want to feel an aural assault for an hour (I have the album with the bonus tracks).

Overall though this is just an average album in my opinion.

Description

Lamb Of God come to Roadrunner at a time when their sales history reflects a band realising their full potential. Hailed as one of the leaders under the mantle of ‘New Wave Of American Heavy Metal’, their unique yet appealing sound has seen them described as everything from thrash to metalcore to heavy groove.

Their last album, the Grammy nominated Sacrament, set expectations to fever pitch and now
Lamb Of God deliver Wrath - an album poised to make them one of the biggest metal bands on the planet.

“This album is going to surprise a lot of people,” comments drummer Chris Adler. “Typically bands that get to where we are in our career begin to slack off, smell the roses and regurgitate. WRATH needs no hype.”
