Average story, written in a paint numbers style

forget this being an adaptation of the book, it only shares the title. film 5/10 pic 5/10 sound 8/10 for some reason the local disc does not look as good as a us copy (which would rate 8/10). the local has washed out colours and sepia skin tones, most noticeable in the early city scenes. such variations aren't supposed to exist.
Watch “28 Days Later” instead, the British do this story/theme much better. “28 Days Later” is much more of a horror film, with less hero and more doom and despair.
