5 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

The story of Narnia begins with “The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe”, when children find a magical wardrobe that takes them directly into Narnia, where animals talk and the White Witch has created perpetual winter. This story has everything; magic, suspense, thrills, action and fun and is surely every child's dream. I always hoped that I could climb through a wardrobe and find a magical land where I could become a princess and live in a castle! This book and the rest of the Narnia series never date, never lose their appeal. Once you read this one, you'll have to read them all! And it's so wonderful to have them released in facsimiles of the original hardbacks! Well worth the money.
