"Great Aussie Movie"

Love this movie, so funny. Is one you can watch over and over

"This film fills you with Serenity"

If someone tells you that this film is rubbish, tell 'me he's dreaming. Best thing out of 'straya since whatever your favourite Holden is. A classic yarn about a little fella who stands up to the big guy. And where else in media would you find a loving marriage like the one between Darryl and Sal Kerrigan- Interesting fact, the production ran a few days less than it should of because they couldn't afford more catering but they still absolutely kicked a goal. I give it 5 trunks up!

"Not very good"

Disappointed – scenes were missing and movie lacked continuity.

Description

The Castle – Re-Mastered and Re-Plastered

The Castle is a sweeping saga that takes the harsh Australian outback, the rugged characters of the ANZAC legend, the spirit of Banjo Patterson and ignores them in favour of a greyhound racing, tow-truck driver who never meant to be a hero. Since it’s theatrical release The Castle has become an iconic Australian comedy with phrases such as “How’s the serenity?”, “This is going straight to the pool room” and “Tell him he’s dreaming” now a part of Australian cultural lingo.

  • " The greatest Australian film of all time. " – Matt Neal
  • " You can't help but fall in love. " – Keeva Stratton
