Quite a variety of music on this disc, a trip down flashback lane.
Really good sounds. Had to get the cd after watching the movie and just remembering how much I love all these 60s songs. Great service too – thank you !
The Boat That Rocked', is a new comedy about rock and roll on the high seas from filmmaker Richard Curtis (Love Actually, Four Weddings and a Funeral) starring Rhys Ifans, Rhys Darby, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Bill Nighy, Nick Frost, Kenneth Branagh.
Inspired by the British pirate radio revolution in the '60s, the majority of the film takes place in a large rusty metal fishing trawler moored off the coast of England in the very waters that kept the rock of the '60s booming into the U.K.
The soundtrack to what will be Working Titles BIGGEST movie release of the year will be in stores April 6th, the week of the film's release. All tracks will be in keeping with the theme and era of this classic rock ‘n'roll story, and includes a new recording by Duffy ‘Stay With Me Baby’.
