Phillip Dick has written some great stories, this is one of them. It does leave the question up in the air – Are we really in control of our own destiny –
Always enjoy Matt Damon, he portrays U.S. senate politician who meets contemporary ballet dancer Emily Blunt and trys to persue a relationship with her, but an accidental glimpse into his future Fate has a different idea of where he should be headed, and so a cat and mouse chase begins, quite entertaining.
Well worth buying – we have watched it several times and it just gets better each time.
The Adjustment Bureau
Do we control our destiny, or do unseen forces manipulate us-
Matt Damon stars in the thriller The Adjustment Bureau as a man who glimpses the future Fate has planned for him and realises he wants something else. On the brink of winning a seat in the U.S. Senate, politician David Norris (Damon) meets beautiful, contemporary ballet dancer Elise Sellas (Emily Blunt) – a woman like none he’s ever known. But just as he realises he’s falling for her, mysterious men conspire to keep the two apart.
