Guillermo Del Toro has a brilliant knack for bringing fantastical stories to the screen and this film is no exception . It is a beautifully realised tale of loneliness , longing and love . Hopefully everlasting .

Very disappointing movie & not worth watching. Storyline and acting is very poor. Effects r mediocre. Very budget. Mighty Ape sales & service remain top notch.
I was disappointed with this movie was it a fairy tale or not, all a bit strange for me.
The Shape Of Water
From master story teller, Guillermo del Toro, comes THE SHAPE OF WATER – an other-worldly fairy tale, set against the backdrop of Cold War era America circa 1962. In the hidden high-security government laboratory where she works, lonely Elisa (Sally Hawkins) is trapped in a life of isolation. Elisa's life is changed forever when she and co-worker Zelda (Octavia Spencer) discover a secret classified experiment.
