*David Haller is a troubled young man diagnosed as schizophrenic, but after a strange encounter, he discovers special powers that will change his life forever.**
Based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name, the drama series is the first television show to be connected to the “X-Men” movie franchise. It follows the life of David Haller (Dan Stevens), a young man who was diagnosed with schizophrenia and who's been in and out of psychiatric hospitals for years.
Everything changes for him when he realizes that his issues might not be due to mental illness but to him being a mutant. As he tries to make sense of who he is and to gain full control of his powers, he faces powerful enemies with the help of old friends and new allies, such as body-swapper Syd Barrett (Rachel Keller), drug addict Lenny Busker (Aubrey Plaza) and geeky scientist Cary Loudermilk (Bill Irwin).

- “It is a muddle, a beautifully styled, scary, and withholding muddle that can't easily be placed in a specific time period.” – Boston Globe
- “Legion is truly a one-of-a-kind adaptation that's basically Marvel-adjacent, also drawing inspiration from other media.” – Cincinnati CityBeat
