Sheep have an exceptional memory: They can remember faces of fellow sheep and
humans for up to two years.
Fun Fact: Sheep can remember the faces up to 50 other sheep.
When you think of sheep, you will usually have an animal with white, curly
fur in mind. But there are always black sheep that of course particularly stand
out in a white herd. Their wool cannot be dyed as well as the wool of white
sheep. That is where the proverbial “black sheep” comes from as a term for
an outsider. But otherwise, black sheep do not differ from the white. They are
just as intelligent, playful, and sociable and have a very good memory.

Schleich products are developed with the assistance of parents, teachers
and children and are therefore especially designed for children’s hands. The
design of Schleich products is as realistic and naturalistic as possible. This
enables children to experience the large variety of nature – from domestic
animals on a farm to wild animals in the jungle.
