On August 15th 1944, an invasion in Provence, France was organised by the Americans to support and protect the allied troops marching to Berlin who had already landed in Normandy on June 6, 1944.

After jumping over Provence during the night, three paratroopers who have to regroup with their fellow soldiers in the village of Les Arcs, help the local resistance to free some of their members and organise the ambush of a German armour unit. Review

“Once again returning to the core themes of faith amidst war, director Ryan Little brought a follow-up film to his award-winning Saints and Soldiers to the 2012 Heartland Film Festival…Based on actual experiences documented by writer Lory Curtis in her book "Letter's Home – A Paratrooper's Story,” Saints and Soldiers: Airborne Creed takes similar themes to Little's first film and weaves the themes into a different yet similar story with the connecting bond of highlighting the courage and faith of those in the armed forces. The film is set in World War II and tells the story of the 517th Parachute Regimental Combat Team (PRCT) and their participation in Operation Dragoon, which took place on August 15, 1944 in southern France.

Little continues to accomplish quite a bit for a low-budget film, with Saints and Soldiers: Airborne Creed being an emotionally involving, well-acted and beautifully produced film that realistically portrays its story while never losing sight of the fact that it's a lot more than a war movie."
