The core idea and play of the game is fun but it can be quite frustrating when you draw hand after hand of cards that leave you powerless to change your circumstance, i.e. Only getting turn cards. These bad turns can bog down the game and slow it down more than it needs to be.
Given the number of revisions I am surprised to see so little documentation regarding Option Cards and from browsing the forums I can see this is a commonly grey area of much debate on the forums. Greater clarifications on an official FAQ, errata or new edition to the rules would be appreciated as the version on Wizard’s site currently match the printing of my version.
My main issue is with Avalon Hill's 2010 printing is the boards… If you can call them that aren't really boards so much as thick card which if held at one corner flexes slightly, it may seem nit-picky but essentially fresh out of the box, my boards won't sit flush with a table and can make it slightly awkward moving bits between boards.
