Great game to help my 7yo twins with basic facts. They struggle a little with the wrap-around points (<0 and >10) but they'll get there.
You do need a balanced age/capability group to play.

I brought this game for my five year old and it has helped with his maths tremendously! He is not thinking more in his head than on his fingers. I had to slightly alter the game to suit him obviously but he absolutely loves playing. It can then be changed as they start to go into negative numbers as they get older.
Fantastic present for any school age child I think!
Fast and Fun Number Crunch’n!
It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3!
Players add, or subtract, 1, 2, or 3 to the number on the top card on the pile to determine if they have a card that can be played next. Sounds simple, but with everyone playing simultaneously, the options are constantly changing. The first player out of cards wins!
Is there a way to adjust the game so that faster and slower players can play
together?
Yes, however, try playing a few rounds before you do this, many times it just
takes a few rounds before the slower player catches up. If you still want to
adjust the game, simply play one hand through as normal. Then, have the slower
player count the cards they have remaining, divide that number by two, and then
give the faster player that many additional cards at the beginning of the next
round. As the slower player improves, decrease this ‘handicap’ until players
are playing with an even number of cards. For games of 3 or 4 players, divide
the additional cards among the faster players based on how fast each
one plays.
