Ran perfectly out of the box with Macbook Pro. Portable hard drive, scanner, tablet etc connected. But doesn't run well with old USB 2 card reader – disconnects intermittently – but confident that will be remedied with a new USB 3 reader.

Have only attached one or two items so haven't tested it loaded up. Wish the cable that came with it was longer and more flexible.
