Jet Plane And Oxbow
Shearwater is back with their 9th studio album, Jet Plane and Oxbow, in which
they have
stayed with their indie/folk/psychadelic rock sound, but have also dabbled in
pop and
synth tendencies on this new album. Recorded with Danny Reisch in Austin and LA,
front
man Jonathan Meiburg spent two years on this album with help from other fellow
band
members, but the one that stands out as a secret weapon was film composer
and
percussionist Brian Reitzell, who’s soundtracks include, The Virgin Suicides,
Lost in
Translation and 30 Days Of Night
