not as good as all the hype. sure Sandra is worth watching but the overall movie wasn't brilliant. Not a fan of George but without his voice (yes, his calm and soothing voice) it wouldn't have been so watchable. There were a few ‘hurry up’ moments where you think there is no way you would stop there if that was a real situation. I understood a lot more after watching how it was made. Details you don't register while watching the movie but later realise how important they are.
Fantistic thrilling different and immersive experience make sure you watch this one with the beat sound and picture you have.
I thoroughly enjoyed it. Not for those who get motion sickness!
Dr. Ryan Stone (Sandra Bullock) is a brilliant medical engineer on her first shuttle mission, with veteran astronaut Matt Kowalsky (George Clooney) in command of his last flight before retiring. But on a seemingly routine spacewalk, disaster strikes. The shuttle is destroyed, leaving Stone and Kowalsky completely alone – tethered to nothing but each other and spiraling out into darkness. The deafening silence tells them they have lost any link to Earth…and any chance for rescue. As fear turns to panic, every gulp of air eats away what little oxygen is left. But the only way home may be to go further out into the terrifying expanse of space.
